Congratulations to Jack Elliot, Harley Short and Hayden Farrelly on being named in the Essendon District Football League Division Two Team of the Year.

Despite being eligible for Under 19s, Jack played 16 games in the senior side and also represented the EDFL in the Under 19s Interleague side – the only player from Div 2 to do so.

Harley capped another amazing season by being named in the Team of the Year. A mid season trip to Europe where he missed 6 games didn’t stop the contested ball winning machine from being named among the best in the league.

Hayden returned to Roxy this season and added some much needed grunt both up forward and when thrown onto the ball on occasions. Hayden suffered a badly injured ankle mid season but in a testament to his strength and resolve was back out representing the magpies before the end of the season. Being named in this side is a great reward for his effort

All three of the boys have signed up for season 2018….. are you on board?
