Hume Council Draft Budget

2 May 2018 by Roxburgh Park Football Club

There was some great news for the club in the Hume City Council Draft budget with the allocation of funds for improvements at Lakeside Reserve

In the draft budget for 2018/19, $110,000 is budgeted, with these funds going towards a new scoreboard and coach boxes.

A further $180,000 is budgeted in 2021/22 for goal nets at the northern (pavilion) end of the ground and new fences around the grounds. Therefore, these four items will be delivered in two tranches (2018/19 and 2021/22).

The club would like to thank Hume City Council for their continued support and acknowledgement that our facilities still require further work. It should be noted that this is the draft budget and requires approval but we are certainly appreciative of the funds allocated in this draft.

Details of the draft budget can be found at https://www.hume.vic.gov.au/…/Draft_Council_Plan_and_Budget…

We are also looking forward to the opening of the new club rooms which have also been funded by Hume Council. Look for more details of the expected grand unveiling in the coming weeks.
